Kate

Hello! My name is Kate and I am a Veterinary Technician and the Inventory Manager here at Sherbourne Animal Hospital.

I graduated in 2015 from the Animal Care Program at Durham College and while taking this program, I realized a career in a veterinary hospital was my calling. After working in a couple of clinics in Durham Region from 2015-2017, I was fortunate enough to join the Sherbourne Animal Hospital team in September 2017 and I have been extremely grateful to meet amazing colleagues, clients, and pets over the years.

My passion for animals, especially cats, came at a very young age so I have always owned a cat (or two!) and I love helping people when it comes to their pets. When I am not working in the hospital, I work with an elderly home to help with nail trims and minor grooming as well as cat sitting for friends and colleagues.

I currently have a 12-year-old Domestic Short Hair named Nala and 4-year-old Domestic Medium Hair named Nora.
