We are re-opening our clinic for booking appointments however the

CLOSED-DOOR POLICY is still in effect. We are also opening for extended hours in the month of May, please see below:

Curbside pick-up is still available, if you prefer this option, give us a call so we can bring your items outside! If you would like to go inside the hospital, we just have to make sure that the reception area is free.

You can enter the hospital with your pet as long as there aren't 2 people inside the reception area, let the front desk know that you have a drop-off appointment and they will check in your pet.

These are 15-minutes appointments with our technician, we will have to ask you to wait outside until your pet is done since we have a limited capacity in the reception area

As of Tuesday April 17th 2020, Sherbourne Animal Hospital will be implementing a CLOSED DOOR policy, as required by the C.V.O. to promote the safety of the community. Rest assured, we are remaining open for our patients (and their owners) to provide medical care, appointments, food and medications.

procedure:

ALL appointments will be in a drop-off manner. A staff member will be at the front to greet you at the door and take your pet to the back, where they'll be examined by a veterinarian. The doctor will call you to discuss the examination & answer  any questions you may have. Once the invoice is finalized, a staff member will obtain payment and bring your pet outside to you

payment options
  • OVER THE PHONE. We can obtain your payment using this method by asking for the credit card information over the phone or a pre-authorized form (We accept Visa, MasterCard & American Express)

  • E-Transfer. We will be sending you a pre-invoice with the instructions on how to send your payment. Once received we'll send the finalized invoice along with the notification that your pet is ready for pick-up. (Payments are sent to info@sherbourneanimalhospital.com)

  • Cash. Although we are still accepting cash payments we do ask you to kindly consider the two options above first

in-store purchases | food/medication pick up

We kindly ask everyone to call us ahead to check in the food/medication that you are looking for is in stock, since in-store payment is not an option for the meantime we highly encourage to settle everything before heading over the clinic to pick up your items.

  • For Downtown core owners we are offering a courier option for next day drop off for a $6 fee (medications, small bags of etc, etc.)

  • Large Bags/multiple cases of food delivered to the clinic will need to be picked up by owners (after pre-payment)

  • Canada Post (for a small shipping fee) if you wish to have medications delivered to you. Bags and cases of food will not be delivered through this service

  • Myvetstore for home delivery and to help our clients out, we have lowered the free shipping to anything over $25

With Stage 3 opening in Toronto, Sherbourne Animal Hospital has decided to open its doors again on Tuesday, August 4th to welcome our lovely clients with strict guidelines.

Everyone must wear a face covering that cover nose, mouth and chin when entering the hospital. We are only allowing 2 people in our reception to maintain social distancing. We ask you to wait outside until someone leaves the hospital before you enter.

Upon entering the clinic, reception will ask you if you have an appointment. Once you've confirmed you will be placed in the designated exam room, the protocol will be explained to you again to avoid any confusion. Your pet will be escorted to the doctor at the back where the exam will be done, they will be calling you and conduct the consultation over the phone

procedure:

These appointments would usually last within 15 minutes, once you've confirmed the appointment we will ask you to wait outside for your pet since we can only have 2 people inside reception this will allow us to help other clients while your pet is being taken care of at the back. Once they're done, we'll bring them to you outside
