diagnostic
Consultations are preferably by appointment, although we welcome walk-in and drop-off patients as we know that emergencies cannot be predicted. We usually see a maximum of 4 clients per hour. This way, we can see you promptly and have ample time to complete the clinical examination and discuss the result with you.

All patients should have at least one annual health check. A yearly exam can often pick up problems early so that treatment can be started before a condition becomes serious. Vaccination may be given at this time. For older animals, we recommend check-ups every six months. Pets taking medication for an extended period of time or with specific illnesses may require check-ups every three months.

prevention
We perform a full examination on all of our patients before vaccination. An exam is required due to the fact that vaccinations are not without their side effects, and we want to make sure animals are healthy before vaccination. At this visit, we also talk about a patient’s lifestyle, arthritis concerns, growths, weight concerns, and dental disease. We tailor a patient’s vaccination to its lifestyle because all patients are not the same.

Dental care
If your pet's teeth are not cleaned on a regular basis many health issues can occur such as bad breath, gingivitis and periodontal disease. This is a result of bacterial and plaque build up on your pet’s teeth and gum. More serious infections may result, which can eventually damage the liver, kidneys, heart and other organs.

surgery
Our advanced facilities are able to cope with a wide range of surgical problems, although we have close contact with several referral centres should the need arise.

nutrition
Carrying a few extra pounds can mean big problems for your pet including an increased risk of developing heart disease, diabetes and painful joints. Our staff will assess your pet’s weight and fitness so that together, a realistic weight loss programme can be developed to help your pet to reach an achievable target weight.

pharmacy
Now you can enjoy the benefits of home delivery of your pet’s nutritional needs, as well as a wide range of treats, supplements and prescription products!
